History in an Hour: Check them out!

Anyone who has a passing interest in history should check out this great little site, www.historyinanhour.com. History in an Hour write and produce their own books for the Ipod generation. It’s a great idea and something that I had wished I had thought of first. They offer a range of good titles including; The Reformation in an Hour, 1066 in an Hour, Hitler in an Hour, plus many more. All under £2 as well. Obviously you will not find groundbreaking historiographical arguments in the text. But that is not their point.  Instead you will find interesting historical stories and a great introduction to some topics that you might not be aware of, or had the opportunity to read before.

If you are constantly struggling to find something interesting to do in your lunch break, then check them out. You won’t be disappointed, unless of course you manage to read all their titles before the next one is released!
